Won't you join us?!?!?
Well it’s that time of year again where we take some time to visit family, drink hot beverages, and watch classic holiday movies. However, don’t fret dear people! We still have some shows on the books to keep the blood flowing!
Houston, it’s time to open wide and gobble us up for Thanksgiving! We’re coming to the Mucky Duck the day before Thanksgiving for a special show, you’ll never see so many turkeys on one stage!
Nov 27, we’re back at home playing with two of our favorite bands to play with, Clyde & Clem’s Whiskey Business and East Cameron Folkcore! Also, speaking of favorites, the night opens with a special site specific performance by our absolute favorite theater group in town, Paper Chairs! They will be performing a re-launch of their hit, ‘Murder Ballad Mystery’.
What about December? Dec. 10th & 11th you ask? Well, we can’t think of a better way to spend a few wintery nights soaking ourselves in Gin than playing our favorite party in the world, in NY! That’s right, Hendrick’s Gin decided to tack on one more party for the year, in Brooklyn! Check the calendar for RSVP info and the absolutely glorious location. As usual, our buddies at Hendrick’s will no doubt find the right place for this scandalous night of revelry!
Finishing up the year, we will be performing at our absolute favorite honky-tonk in the universe, the White Horse. If you’ve heard of these famed shows as of late, there’s really no need to go into too much detail. Always lots of whiskey and nudity. Oh, and music and dancing as well. Hmmm, maybe Santa will be there? If he is, surely he will not be wearing any clothes.
See ya next year and happy holidays from the Shivers Shack!
We'll be playing with some art at The Blanton Museum on November 30, then headed to NY for special parties on January 5, 6. New record on the rise.
